A Sort of Date-Type Thing...

So I got some sort of cool news today. Nicola (see here for a quick mention of her) comes up to me and tells me she is now single. This is very good news as I think she is super-cool and nice and well...stuff.

There is only a couple of minor (spelt M-A-J-O-R) problems in this. Firstly - she has only just come out of a relationship so I don't want to do the annoying tosser picking up on heartbroken women thing. The second problem is - I have totally forgotten what to do on a date-type thing. What is acceptable and what isn't? We both like each other (I think), we both kid around with one another and to be honest I think there is a possibility of attraction and a future relationship.

I've just been out of the game so long that I just don't remember what to do. Me. The ex-pimp mo-fo. Help!

She has given me her mobile and agreed to go out for a drink. My problem is that I hate to fail at anything, so I want to make the evening work so she'll agree to come along for a second time. I really want to make her think "Yes, this guy could be quite good fun - I'll give it a whirl".

Once again, Help! Anyone who can give me a hand on this, notes, guestbook entries even an email would help me out.

I don't want to screw this up...
